Online Dating? Be Careful When You Date Someone Online. Sex Trap

Today, the world we live in has a lot to offer us. Anything you wish will come to you; there are drones to deliver the goods to your doorstep! About one of them, however, I am not sure. The concept of online dating is, was and perhaps will be a mystery for me forever.
A decade ago, you could see people frowning if someone initiated talks about blind dates. It has been left far behind now. Netizens are creating new milestones for them daily. Google can suggest your future partner in seconds; you can start dating with that 'searched' partner in no time. Thanks that Skype is there!
People with orthodox mind might find it a waste of time and resources. Youths, however, revel in these things. I do not criticize them for using the advanced technologies either. Nevertheless, I have to pose an interrogation mark next to their so-called 'online dating'.
What is the ultimate result one can extract from all these? I can assume the answers will mostly sound like 'nothing'. Then why do youths indulge in such futile activities?
I am worried when I see a girl of 15, living next to my door, staring at her mobile screen almost 10 hours in a day. Sometimes her expressions reflect happiness, sometimes sadness and most of the time confused! The dilemma is that if I lecture her about the side-effects of long hours of mobile use, it will make no sense at all to her. Moreover, people supporting the 'youth empowerment' might charge me of 'influencing one's mind'. Therefore, I remain a silent observer. (I am not sure how long I can keep my mouth shut!)
To me, online dating is a fallacy! It is a 'never-ending' dream literally. You cannot look the reality behind the curtain. The internet shows you what people allow it. Learning about the news of a girl running away with 'Facebook lover' and ultimately losing her life after being raped, pierces my heart. What can someone with 'orthodox' thoughts do? It seems the take-off of online dating has made people like myself outdated! One can understand if 'there is no country for old men', but what about someone just 24 and being disillusioned and worried?
I have an unsolicited advice for the youths. Sometimes the 'believe what you see' theory also does not work. How can you believe the written things that are 'editable'? Now, if it is all about the 'online pleasure', enjoy it and see how long it continues. I do not subscribe to this theory.

Moments with Oneself: Poem by Alok Mishra: Artist and Art~~ the thought

Moments with Oneself

‘They liked it, but demanded
‘More openness in my art
‘Before I am eligible to be displayed!’

An artist with heavy heart
Closed his eyes, thought and prayed.

‘You will do.’ He commanded
To his soul in dilemma and dismay.
A horrible cry of silence spread…

Accepted the dejected, having no other way
But the only choice for bread.

Dead artist cannot produce art!

Becky Sharp: Character Sketch: Vanity Fair: William Thackeray

This is a formal start for the sketch, you will get a base then you have to put your own ideas in play.

One of the most animated characters, sharpest woman character, and perhaps the most cunning of all female protagonists that have been created so far by the pen of any author, Becky Sharp, the character of Vanity Fair, reflects all these qualities from her personality and actions. She is short but not at all short in her wit. She smiles with the most gracious movements of her lips but strikes the sentiments of the victim so ungraciously! Becky Sharp justifies her name and she is sharp from all the angles one can observe.

Becky, the ill-bred girl with some inherit gifts like French in natural accent and humour to amuse all around her, is very ambitious since her childhood. Ambition- something like integrated in the character of Becky, we may say that it is the gift of the society to her. When in the Pinkerton’s school, everyone is harsh towards Becky except Amelia only. (Amelia has the reason; Thackeray has made her stupid.) The harsh behaviour of the school, Pinkerton’s now and then rebuke on Becky makes Becky ill and sick with the typical Victorian arrogance to grow up and up in the society. Moreover, the Pinkerton’s style, the Pinkerton’s hatred, and everything about modern and socially aware Pinkerton enter into the life of Becky and later we see that Becky is the perfect resemblance of Pinkerton.    ..............
